Spalted Maple Yarn Bowl

For the knitter or crocheter, here is a lovely spalted maple bowl, finished with Walnut Oil, embellished with burnt incised lines at the rim and base, finished inside with Venetian  Red Gesso.  The bowl is a little heavy in the bottom for stability and the 8 1/2 inch diameter will hold your skein easily.  Let those needles fly!!
