Birch Squared Bowl

Take a Finnish Birch block, 4x4x1 1/2", retain the block shape and make a round bowl: not as easy as it sounds. The result is worth all of the effort, however. This little bowl is delightful to see and to hold and the perfect size to hold something dainty: candies perhaps?
