Canarywood Bowl

Hard to believe, perhaps, but this bowl started as only a board about 10-inches wide and 3/4 inch thick.  A special technique cut the board into concentric circles which were then glued in a stack and a bowl was created giving the illusion that it had been 4-inches thick!!  This is a striking bowl with beautiful amber and brown streaks and a golden chatoyance ...complete with insect holes as accent!!
